Evidence of the Teaching Effectiveness

Teaching observation of Yigit

Yigit delivered a clear and engaging lesson on the Ashʿarī creed in Sunni Islam. He effectively explained complex concepts and maintained a good balance between lecturing and interactive learning. Although only three students attended, he encouraged strong participation through a collaborative group activity that promoted discussion and critical thinking. His use of guiding questions and visual materials supported understanding, and the reflective Google Doc exercise provided a meaningful conclusion. I don’t have any background knowledge about the topic. However, I understood the materials. My suggestions to Yigit would be to be more vocal and explain a topic multiple time would be more beneficial to the listeners who are new to the topic.
